Over two sessions FACHC will host a panel of guest speakers and potential partners to explore how Health Centers can assess, prioritize, and identify potential interventions and projects to improve efficiency (reduce costs and modernize facilities) and promote resilience (continuity of operations) as well as how they can pay for these interventions and projects including a review of available grants, federal incentives, and financing options.

Join us for an enlightening session on leveraging the power of PRAPARE® as a screening tool in supporting survivors of human trafficking. In this comprehensive session, participants will gain a deep understanding of implementing PRAPARE as a screening tool, using empathic inquiry approaches and the importance of utilizing a trauma-informed approach in healthcare settings for the unique challenges faced by survivors of human trafficking. By the end of this session, participants will be equipped with practical knowledge and tools to integrate PRAPARE effectively into their healthcare practices, ensuring a more comprehensive and empathetic response to the needs of survivors of human trafficking.
This online presentation will explore human trafficking trends in Florida, especially as they impact Florida Community Health Centers. Participants will learn about sex trafficking and labor trafficking trends, and will explore case studies involving both types of exploitation. There will be a special focus upon indicators of human trafficking in health care settings, and reporting obligations of non-clinical staff members. This will include HIPPA considerations as well as the unique situation posed by child sex trafficking victims.
