The Florida Association of Community Health Centers (FACHC) announce the hiring of Jonathan Chapman as its new President and CEO this week, naming a successor to the retiring Andrew Behrman.
With Chapman set to take over responsibilities starting Dec. 1, the organization told The Capitolist through a statement that he will uphold its “mission of safeguarding the stability of Florida’s Community Health Centers and ensuring equitable access to primary care for all Floridians.”
Chapman has two decades of experience in easing hardships preventing individuals from access to primary care, according to FACHC. Most recently, Chapman served as Chief Project Officer with Capital Link where he held oversight of capital development and financing strategies for health centers nationally, identifying emerging technologies affecting healthcare providers and expanding the organization’s internal capacity and offerings to clients.
